Teen Charged With Murder After Amazon Package Found in Suitcase With Remains
A teen was just arrested for k*lling a p*dophile, cutting up the body, then stuffing the remains into suitcases

An Amazon package addressed to Lucas Sander Jones was found inside a suitcase containing human remains in a remote Florida area.
Jones, 19, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Colie Lee Daniel.
Human remains were discovered in two abandoned suitcases in "The Compound," a remote, undeveloped area in Palm Bay, Florida.
The remains were identified as Colie Lee Daniel, a registered sex offender who had been reported missing on March 22.
The Girlfriend's Account
Jones' girlfriend told police she saw Daniel unconscious at Jones' residence on March 20 and later observed Jones discarding items in "The Compound" area.
Daniel's mother had reported him missing two days later, after he was last seen at Jones' residence.
Evidence Links to Jones
The Amazon package found inside one of the suitcases provided direct evidence linking Jones to the scene.
Jones was initially arrested on charges including tampering with evidence, abuse of a dead human body, and improper disposal of human remains, then re-arrested on the murder charge.
Legal Proceedings
Jones now faces second-degree murder charges in connection with Daniel's death.
The case has drawn attention to the complexities surrounding violence against registered sex offenders, even as their crimes warrant public scrutiny.
The discovery was made possible by witness testimony from Jones' girlfriend, who observed the disposal of items that led investigators to the remote location where the suitcases were found.
