Analytics, Advertising, and Third-Party Technologies
We use third-party analytics, advertising, monetization, and related technologies to better understand how users interact with the Site, improve Site performance and content, support security and fraud prevention, measure traffic and engagement, and help deliver and optimize advertising.
These third parties may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, identifiers, and similar technologies to collect information from your browser or device when you access or interact with the Site. This information may include your IP address, approximate location, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, clicks, scroll activity, session activity, time spent on pages, ad interactions, and other usage or technical information.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use the Site, including traffic patterns, page and content performance, engagement metrics, referral sources, and general usage trends. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar technologies to distinguish users, measure sessions, and generate analytics reports that help us improve the Site and user experience. For more information about how Google collects and uses data, visit Google's Privacy Policy and Google's information about how Google uses cookies and similar technologies.
Google AdSense. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Site. Google may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your browser or device, including information about your visits to this and other websites, in order to provide, personalize, and measure advertisements. This may include the use of advertising cookies to show you ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites (also known as interest-based advertising). You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services by visiting Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. We also use this information for site optimization, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Ezoic. We use Ezoic to support advertising, monetization, ad delivery, ad measurement, ad optimization, testing, reporting, personalization, and related analytics on the Site. Ezoic and its advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, identifiers, and similar technologies to collect or receive information from your browser or device, including information about your visits to the Site and other online activity, in order to help deliver, measure, and improve advertising and Site monetization. For more information about how Ezoic collects and uses data, visit Ezoic's Privacy Policy.
These third-party providers may act as independent controllers, service providers, processors, or partners, depending on the service being provided and applicable law. Their collection, use, and disclosure of data are governed by their own privacy policies, notices, and terms, in addition to this Privacy Policy where applicable.
Our own analytics. We also measure how the Site is used with our own analytics, which do not use cookies. We record the pages you view, roughly how long you actively spend on them and how far you scroll, the site or app that referred you, your approximate country, your device and browser type, and actions such as sharing an article or signing up. To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and browser details with a value that changes every day and is then deleted, so a visitor can't be recognized from one day to the next and your IP address is never stored. Your browser keeps a random session identifier (cleared after 30 minutes of inactivity) and a note that you've visited before. This data isn't linked to your account, isn't shared with or sold to third parties, and is kept in detail for 4 months, after which only daily summaries remain (such as views per page, source, and country). In places where the law requires your opt-in, such as the EEA, the UK, Quebec, and Brazil, you are measured only after accepting analytics. Elsewhere, you can turn this off by declining analytics in our cookie settings, and we never measure browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal.
Where required by law, we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies. You may be able to manage your preferences through our cookie banner, consent management tools, or your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain technologies may affect Site functionality, analytics, personalization, advertising, or other features.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We may also deny or limit a request where permitted by law.
